Help · Grading guide
How we grade our shirts
Every shirt we sell gets a grade out of 10, so you know exactly what you’re buying before it arrives. Most of our stock is pre-owned, and a grade tells you how much life a shirt has had.
We grade honestly and on the cautious side. If a shirt sits between two grades, it gets the lower one. Any flaw that drops the grade is named in the listing and shown in a close-up photo.
The grading scale
What we check on every shirt
Each shirt is washed and checked in good light before it’s graded.
Authenticity
We only sell genuine shirts. Before a shirt is listed, we compare its stitching, badge construction, sponsor printing and tag details against known genuine examples.
If we can’t be confident a shirt is authentic, we don’t sell it.
Fan and player versions
Some shirts were made in two versions. Fan versions are the standard shirts sold in club shops. Player versions are what the squad wore: usually a slimmer fit, lighter fabric and sometimes heat-pressed badges. We always state which version a shirt is in the listing.
Names, numbers and patches
We always say whether a shirt’s name, number or league patches are original or were added later. If we can’t tell for certain, we’ll say so.
Our promise
If your shirt arrives and doesn’t match its grade or description, get in touch and we’ll put it right. Want extra photos or measurements before you buy? Message us on Instagram or email us.
